July was a busy month, we did a lot of traveling. First to Boise, Idaho, and then a week later to San Antonio, Texas. We had a wonderful visit with our youngest son, who has graduated from BMT, He is now stationed at Sheppard AFB, for schooling, before he goes on to his permanent duty station which will be in Louisiana.

I can't believe it is August already. My youngest Grandson is now a year old. He had a lot of fun with cake. I will post pictures later in another post. I've been reading quite a bit although a lot of what I've read is fan fiction this month. I have picked up some pretty good books also.

Impacted by mickieashling Was a great book. If you've read Chris Owens and Jodi Paynes Deviations series, you will like this one. I'm definitely going to re-read it soon.

False Colors by alex_beecroft. If you like historical fiction this is a great book. I read it while we were traveling to San Antonio. I couldn't put it down.

Transgressions by erastes I can't believe how hard it was for me to find this book. I went to 3 different Barnes and Nobles, and one Borders. They were all out. I finally had to order it online. It was an excellent book. Once again if you like historical fiction you'll like this one. I would love to read a sequel.

Three Day Pass by sean_michael I am re-reading the Jarhead series. There is something about this series that just makes you come back to it over and over again.

Right now I am waiting for jan_irving's book Mask to arrive in the mail. It has been very hard to not go back to Dreamspinner Press and not buy the ebook version too, so I could start reading it right away.
